A stunning pick and red sandstone five-story structure stands in the heart of Jaipur.It is also known as the Palace of the Wind, where royal women could view street activities outside while hidden from viewearlier.The pyramid-shaped palace has 953 windows, each with an intricate design. HawaMahal is considered as an excellent example of Rajputana architecture which is constructed in 1799.

2. Havelock Island

Ecotourism is encouraged at Havelock Island, the largest island in Ritchie’s Archipelago in the Andaman Islands.The number of visitors to Havelock Island is on the rise due to its great beaches, casual atmosphere, snorkeling and scuba diving opportunities. The best time to visit is mid-January to mid-May, when the weather is sunny with calmer seas.

Darjeeling is a town in northeast India that is famous for tea, trains and scenic beauty. Darjeeling tea is thin, light coloured, aromatic and soothing to drink. The leaves are grown in the hills around the town. Farther up in the skyline, travellers can see the snow-covered peaks of the Himalayan foothills. Access is by a three-hour car ride from the nearest airport(bagdogra airport)or a seven-hour journey on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railroad, a narrow gauge railway known as the “toy train.”

Bheemeshwari is a popular destination in the south, known for its fishing camps and wildlife sanctuary. A host of adventure activities that include Kayaking, river rafting, trekking and rope walking await you at Bheemeshwari Adventure camp, Karnataka, which also allows night stays at the jungle lodges, where you can wake up to sounds of over 200 species of exotic birds and an amazing variety of animals. The camp is most well known for Mahseer fishing, the largest game fish known to man.

Majestic in appearance and a treat for the eye, there is a wide range of activities in and around the place that tourists can indulge in. During the monsoon season, the already bustling waterfall becomes even more alive, and the surrounding greenery only adds to the beauty and magnificence of these waterfalls. Rainbows are also a very common sight here during the monsoons.
